There have been some stories in the news lately about the idea of “living apart together” where two people are together but live separately. Since many couples do this before they decide to “settle” together, for the purpose of the poll assume that living apart together presumes that you’re doing it with someone you have “settled” with and/or are married to. The benefits of living apart together are many, including having your own space and creating distance between you and your partner to build desire/passion and a bit of the absence makes the heart grow fonder philosophy.
